Everlast makes better use of space with this dual purpose punching bag stand. Not only will it hold a standard sized heavy bag up to 100 pounds, but it also has a place to mount a speed bag as well. The speed bag platform can be adjusted to your perfect level and it will accommodate any sized speed bag, Of course they recommend an Everlast speed bag. What else would you expect when the stand is made by Everlast. It is really nice for training because you get the best of both worlds, and you can easily move from one bag to the other pretty quickly if you have it set up right. The heavy bag hangs on the front, and the speed bag mounts on the back, so the stand can’t really be pushed up against the wall. It will have to be out in the open.
The stand is sturdy too. It is made from rugged powder coated steel tubing, and the welds are strong and solid. The stand has three built in weight pegs. You will need some weights to keep the stand from moving around. They slide easily on the included weight pegs. For some reason this part is never really advertised. YOU WILL NEED ADDITIONAL WEIGHTS. The stand has to be able to hold the weight of your heavy bag, and it must also absorb the power from your punches and kicks.
