Strapping a good set of gloves on your hands is one of the most important things you can do whether you are hitting a heavy bag in the garage, sparring in a martial arts class, or taking a cardio kick boxing class. Will these training gloves offer me the most protection?
These training gloves come in three sizes. You can get 12, 14, or 16 ounce gloves. The heavier the glove is, the more protection it will offer you and your opponents if you are sparring.
Each glove has full padding on the front and the back of your wrist. This not only gives you great protection, but also teaches you the proper techniques to prevent any injury. The foam is a dense two layer sandwich design.
Each glove also has a thumb lock. This keeps your thumbs and hands in the right position, so you do not hurt yourself.
What are the gloves made from?
The gloves are not leather. They are made from a synthetic leather like vinyl material. These materials are also called EverFresh. This will keep your gloves from stinking, and it will prevent bacteria from growing. When you wear them, your hands will sweat. Over time that sweat can cause odors and bacteria build up, but you do not have to worry about that with these gloves.
You also get four colors to choose from. Which color is right for you? Red, Blue, Black, Gray, or Cool Gray. You make the choice.
You can also choose between a traditional lace up design, or the newer hook and loop velcro strap. Traditional lace up gloves can be more difficult to put on. You may need help putting them on. The newer velcro hook and loop design is easier to put on and take off by yourself.

Any complaints?
These gloves do not breathe very well. Your hands will get very sweaty wearing them, especially if the gloves are too tight. Making sure you have the proper size will not only prevent this from happening, but it will also prevent injuries. The foam inside the gloves will break down over time.
