Will it take the abuse?
When Title made this fitness tool they were no dummies. It is made from a tough triple ply synthetic leather. For extra strength, they used strong nylon stitching instead of regular thread. They know what is going to happen to this poor unfortunate dummy, and they want it to last. The inside of the dummy is professionally packed to prevent any settling, and if it does start to settle just beat it until it gets back in shape.

Don’t just beat this thing senseless.

What comes in the kit?

The Pit workout DVD is created by John Hackelman. He trained Chuck Lidell who is a UFC light heavy weight champion. The entire workout is broken down into two separate discs and consists of three one hour long workouts. The keyword is work. You will be working hard during these workouts.

There are some basic stretch techniques, hand wrapping techniques, and the basics on how to properly punch and kick. There are some more advanced attacks like round house kicks, hooks, and kneed kicks too. You do not need any exercise equipment to use this workout dvd.

Disc 1 starts off with some basic warm-up routines. Then it goes right into a lot of push-ups. Be ready to do some serious work. Then it goes into some punching for around five minutes. There is a small amount of jumping rope, and then squats and punches and kicks. It will really challenge you. There is quite a bit more to this workout than listed here.

Disc 2 is even more of a workout. It starts off with some jumping jacks to get you warmed up. After that, the workout starts to get intense. It covers a lot of shadow boxing, knee kicks, squats and more brutal push-ups. At times, the instructor John even has a hard time doing the workout. The second disc ends with some stretching for a cool down.

This is not a beginners workout. This will test even the toughest of you out there.

You will need some weights to keep the stand from moving around. They slide easily on the included weight pegs. For some reason this part is never really advertised. YOU WILL NEED ADDITIONAL WEIGHTS. The stand has to be able to hold the weight of your heavy bag, and it must also absorb the power from your punches and kicks.

The stand includes three weighted plate pegs for the best stability. Remember, the stand has to be able to hold the bag, and the power of your blows without tipping over.

How much space will the stand use?
The stand is pretty big. It measures 60 inches long, 48.25 inches wide, and it is just over 84 inches tall. Make sure that you have enough free space for the stand before you make your purchase.

Assembly required!
You will have to put this together once it arrives. Assembly is pretty easy, but the instructions were a little small.

Any problems?
The print on the instructions is small. It would be nice if it were larger. The stand will move if it does not have the proper weights on the legs. It really depends on what type of flooring it is on. If it is on a smooth surface, it will move a little. Some people have bolted the legs into the ground to prevent movement. It has plenty of breathing holes in it too so you won’t get so heated when you are sparring with a partner. It won’t bunch up around your neck like some other head gear does.
